Cougar killed in Ashland
A 76-pound cougar spotted resting on the limb of a tree in the backyard of 93-year-old Warren Hardy's home Saturday morning was put to rest permanently by Ashland Police Department and Oregon State Patrol officers after a couple of hours of considering available options.
